I had the opportunity to develop a graphics package for a new show for WHYY called Check Please! Philly. The graphics package included multiple elements such as Bumpers, Wipes, Lower Thirds, Summary page, Credits and more.

About the show:

Food and travel writer Kae Lani Palmisano invites local diners to join in the conversation about great restaurants in the Philadelphia area. Each week, three regular people – not professional restaurant critics – recommend their favorite spot to eat out. They try each other’s picks, then come together to talk about their experiences.

Jan 2020

These are two graphics package styles developed for a proposed show called Meter’s Running. The premise of the show was about taxi cab drivers and their stories. In each episode you would follow along with various taxi drivers as they show you around locations known and unknown in their areas.

Over the last 3 years at their conferences the Specialty Food Association (SFA) has introduced attendees to the latest food disruptors and innovators in the food industry.

This video was created to announce the 2020 winter food disruptors at the event. Since the SFA was just rebranded with an all new design I utilized the brand elements, fonts, and colors as the theme.

I had an amazing opportunity to art direct this piece for the Washington Nationals. It was used as the broadcast open for their games for the 2016 season.

Washington D.C. is an icon in and of itself. It is instantly recognizable through its history, amazing architecture and as our nation’s capitol. This concept connects those iconic landmarks of Washington D.C. with the Nationals through an abstract world where we see a baseball “planet” made up of various iconic locations and buildings from Washington D.C.

The open starts from fading in from black onto a slowly rotating, detailed closeup of an object. We aren’t quite sure what it is until the object rotates more and the camera pulls back. We now see that object was part of the capitol building dome and it is on a curved surface. The curved surface rotates more to reveal stitches of a baseball. We know see that the capitol building is on a baseball. As the baseball spins it reveals other iconic buildings and locations on it. Behind it we see highlights from the previous Nationals seasons as well as crowd reactions. The baseball spins towards the center of the screen and pulls in the curly W Nats logo from behind the camera. The ball disappears into the background leaving the Nats W.

This was created for a TD Bank internal video that talked about all their locations along the east coast. They asked for some animated segments to be created that showcased those locations, which would then be cut in between the video / interview portions of the piece. I designed and animated these.

This was a proposed proof of concept for Xfinity X1 to help showcase the breadth of content that is available to Xfinity subscribers. The concept was based on the “X” in Xfinity and as you enter into the X you see all the content that makes up the X. As the camera flies over geometric facets you can see that some facets contain content. The camera then flies into some of them to reveal a closer look at the content.

This campaign was created for the 2018 Philadelphia Phillies season. These 15 second broadcast commercials were meant to reflect the elements of the print campaign which utilized photography of the players in heroic poses with a stylized treatment.

I Art Directed and Animated this campaign for Xfinity to promote their on demand Summer Hotlists, which consisted of curated lists of TV shows and movies based on your current interests and mood. I decided to use a simple icon and text to represent each list and used Xfinity's branding for colors and text.

This was a proposed concept for iBelong.org to up awareness about benefits of credit unions and that they are easy to join.

One of the goals was to try to reach a younger demographic so I suggested the use of animation and aimed the messaging towards that demographic. The concept was based around someone who’s out of college, working their first job and finally making some money. Now they want to upgrade their lifestyle but still might a little help. That’s where the credit union comes in with better rates and lower fees etc…

Created for the 2017 Philadelphia Phillies season for Broadcast. The theme for this campaign was “Have A Field Day”, so building off of that I designed a fun, poppy style with vector artwork and cut outs. I also created the look and animation of the “Have A Field Day” tag that played at the end of the commericals.

The job was brought to ShootersINC with a script and asked if we could donate our time and skills. This was done for the Phestiv-Ale beer festival which benefits cystic fibrosis.

I did the illustrations, animation and voice over.

ShootersINC was asked to help bring to life a script for the company JOIN - The Job Opportunity Investment Network.

I designed and animated this piece for JOIN, which is a company powered by the United Way. JOIN is a public private partnership between philanthropy, government, community organizations and employers. JOIN invests in, evaluates and advocates for best practice efforts that narrow the gap between the region’s low-skilled workforce and the needs of the region’s employers. The Job Opportunity Investment Network (JOIN) seeks to increase the number of Greater Philadelphia workers earning family-sustaining wages.

This project was brought to ShootersINC with a script and I was asked if I could come up with something for the charity FamilyLivesOn.org.  I used the palette of the website and I designed, created and animated the typography and graphics.

I designed and animated this piece for the Montgomery School which is an independent, co-educational day school serving prekindergarten through grade eight in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

I designed and animated this piece for Thomas Edison State College of NJ, which is an adult school. It was created to ask alumni for their support to current students through donations.

This was brought to ShootersINC as a script. I designed and animated the piece.

I designed and animated the look for this animation done for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.

I designed and animated these pieces as digital holiday cards. The animation was done in Flash.

This package was created for the video content at the Affordability Cures event in Chicago. There were 5 videos created in total. The package included:

This was a graphics package that was created for a pilot show called Fitness Impossible featuring Robert Irvine of Dinner Impossible and Restaurant Impossible. The show focused on health, fitness, food and family.
